About the Role
Are you passionate about creating a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment that supports students’ well-being? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Kitchen Associate to help supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure meals are prepared, stored, and served according to the highest safety and quality standards.
In this role, you will oversee food deliveries, maintain compliance with health regulations, and support kitchen staff with training and guidance. Your organizational skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to food safety will ensure students enjoy a nutritious and pleasant dining experience every day.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Coordinate and oversee food orders and deliveries
✅ Ensure food is stored, prepared, and served following safety regulations
✅ Monitor and record food temperatures to maintain compliance
✅ Maintain inventory and report food supply or equipment needs
✅ Train and support kitchen staff on best practices and safety standards
✅ Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following all sanitation protocols
✅ Complete daily administrative tasks and record-keeping
Job Details:
📍 Location: Charter school setting
💰 Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
🕒 Job Type: Full-time
⏳ Expected Hours: 30 – 35 per week
🌞 Shift: Day shift
Work Schedule Possibilities:
📅 Monday – Friday
📅 Occasional Events Monday - Friday
Preferred Experience:
🔹 Supervising a kitchen within a school: 1 year (Preferred)
🔹 Strong understanding of food handling and safety regulations

✔️ Certification: Valid Food Handler Certification (Required)
